Meet Alice

With nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a decade of expertise as a professional Coach and Coach Trainer, my unique skill set blends to support individuals, groups and companies that desire to create change. As a Nationally Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a Certified Pain Management Coach, and a member trainer of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), I am dedicated to empowering individuals, groups and companies to navigate the complexities of chronic conditions. With a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW), I am also a Member Affiliate of Harvard’s McLean Institute of Coaching and the International Coach Federation, with advanced Master’s work in the Treatment of Trauma from The National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine.

Chronic conditions affect not only our physical health but also our lifestyle, relationships, and sense of self. My approach is client-centered and person-first, focusing on the whole person (or organization) in recovery. I provide tailored tools and strategies for individuals living with pain or other chronic conditions while also equipping healthcare practitioners with the resources needed to support their patients effectively.

Align Health & Hospitality is also committed to extending coaching and trauma-informed care beyond the medical industry and into the hospitality sector where corporate culture and operational efficiency directly impact the lives of millions of employees and guests each year.  Organizations can expect increased employee engagement, enhanced customer satisfaction, lower healthcare costs, and a stronger competitive edge in the marketplace. Together, we can build a more resilient workforce that not only meets the needs of today but is also prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Experience

For more than 10 years, I’ve worked with clients, clinics, coaches and healthcare organizations of all sizes to create change that betters client outcomes. In addition to training and consulting with healthcare organizations, I apply science-backed strategies to more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to improve client, customer and employee relations where healthcare and hospitality intersect.

Benefits

The benefits of working with a coach as an individual or organization are numerous. Individual coaching allows clients to change and recover in ways they never thought possible. Organizational training and consulting leads to better health outcomes in healthcare organizations as well as less employee turnover and better customer satisfaction outcomes in hospitality organizations.

Process

The training and consulting process varies based on organizational needs. As a consultant, I help organizations enhance employee satisfaction, increase recruitment and retention, and create curriculums of services that help healthcare-based organizations connect cutting-edge and impactful science-based measures to their patients, clients and subscribers. These services include, but are not limited to, change management, employee communication strategies, employee retention and satisfaction, trauma-informed workplace strategies, and other health and wellness programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

It means that you can trust my credentialing and that I work hard to show up for you in the best way a Coach can. It also means that I am bound by the ethics of each credentialing organization and that I am well versed in and committed to the science-based practice of coaching.
Coaching is a professional and co-operative partnership that walks through a process of exploration of strengths, values, challenges and opportunities in a client’s life. Coaching is client-driven and client-centric, meaning that the process is guided by the needs and desires of the client and not the Coach.

Coaching is not psychotherapy. A coach does not provide advice nor does a coach prescribe. Should the coach and client determine that psychotherapy or another type of complementary intervention might be helpful, a different and more broad level of psychotherapy services can be discussed

We start where you are. There is no right or wrong way to start coaching. As a coach, I meet you where you are, and we go together from there. There are no requirements other than to show up.
In our first session, we will get to know each other a little bit and explore what brought you to coaching. We will talk through the information that you think is important for me to have and you can ask me any questions that might be important to you. We will discuss coaching as well as scheduling to determine if our schedules work together. The first session typically takes approximately 45 minutes whereas follow-up sessions are only 30 minutes. Longer follow-up sessions can be scheduled at your request if you feel they would be beneficial.

Our commitment to behavioral healthcare.
